Privacy Policy of Junior United Nations Assembly of Alabama (“JUNA”)

JUNA respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through compliance with this Privacy Policy. This Policy describes our privacy practices for the JUNA website and any other component of JUNA’s online platform (collectively, the “Platform”).  Except as specifically set forth herein, this Policy does not apply to information we collect and use outside of the Platform, such as offline or by phone or email. This Policy also does not apply to the practices of third parties who may provide services or features maintaining, supporting, or servicing the Platform.

We collect information you provide directly through the Platform. When you download, register with, or use the Platform, we may ask you to provide various information, including student names, delegate names, sponsor names, school names and addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses. We also collect correspondence and other information sent through the Platform.  JUNA keeps this information for its own use and does not share or sell this information. However, information in the resolution book (including school names, delegate names, sponsor names, and resolution topics) is publicly available on the front page of the JUNA website.

Our website enables payment of registration fees.  Information collected upon payment includes the name and address of the school, the number of delegates, and credit card information used for payment.  Once entered into the website, that information is transmitted to a third-party payment processor. JUNA does not sell or share any collected payment information, and we do not store or otherwise access your payment information.

We may provide links to third-party websites or applications that enable you to share information with your social networks and to interact with us on platforms that we do not control. These third-party websites or applications may collect or share information about you, but this Policy does not apply to the practices of those websites and applications. We encourage you to review the privacy policies and settings on the websites and applications with which you interact to make sure you understand the information that may be collected, used, and shared when you leave our Platform.
